Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Safe Cities Network embraces the goal of representative leadership and diverse seats at the table in all aspects of decision-making and input. Our staff and leadership reflect the makeup of those we serve and the makeup of our diverse staff.

To encourage and celebrate its diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization, Safe Cities Network does the following:

 

  • All members of the agency’s diverse staff leadership team meet monthly and are encouraged to weigh in on SCN’s strategy, initiatives, goals, and issues.
  • Ensure that Task forces working on specific programs and projects are made up of diverse representation.
  • The Safe Cities Network regularly promotes training programs that includes diversity and inclusion.
